Meet Bear, one of our latest additions. Bear is
about a one year old handsome sheltie, collie,
aussie, mix who is just full of life and waiting for
somebody to teach him the ropes. He was
actually found in Missouri and the owner was
not located. He is a very active young lad with
no formal training and currently only very
limited understanding of the word “no”. Still, it
is hard not to like him as he is just a happy guy.
He would do great with most kids and an active
family. We are just getting to know him so we
need more observation time to comment on
housetraining. He does have some vision
impairments although he is not blind. This
really only marginally slows him down or
otherwise hampers him. He will be neutered
prior to adoption and he is already current on
shots and microchipped. Stay tuned for more

Patch is a three year old male sheltie that was
turned over to our rescue by his owner who felt
that she just could not give him the attention he
deserved. Patch seems to be a nice guy who is
getting along fine with the other dogs in his
current foster home. He reportedly likes to play
with frisbees and balls. We think he would be
fine in a household with older kids, other dogs,
and cats. He is housetrained. He is a little
oversized and has no known health issue. He is
already neutered and microchipped and will be
brought current on shots prior to adoption.

Shack sheltie rescue in Kansas and we had him
transported to Arizona. He is a very very shy boy and
currently prefers to spend most of his time crated. He
rarely comes out to take care of “necessities”. So we
really don’t know much about him other than because of
his shyness, a quieter household without smaller kids
would definitely be preferred. We think he would be
fine with cats. We do believe he is housetrained and
seems in good health. We will provide more information
when we know it.
